Bullying and harassment in the workplace can take many forms, including verbal aggression, personal attacks, and other intimidating or humiliating behaviours. If workplace bullying and harassment is not addressed, it can lead to lost productivity and has far-reaching effects on the health and well-being of workers, as well as on their job tenure, job stability and job satisfaction.

Did you know that overall- in Canada, 19% of women and 13% of men reported that they had experienced harassment in their workplace in the past year?  And 40% of Canadian workers experience bullying on a weekly basis?

In this two-hour interactive webinar, we will explore:

  • What is bullying and harassment, and how they differ.
  • The costs of bullying and harassment on people and organizations.
  • Ways to prevent this behaviour and understand what role the organization, and supervisors can play.
  •  What to do if you are bullied or harassed.
  • Policy recommendations.
  • And if a complaint is filed, what should the organization do.

While this session is part of a series, participants are not required to attend all sessions in the series or attend in any sequence.  Each session can be attended independently.
