Every year, ICBA gives out Safety Merits Awards — a $1,500 bonus given to open shop construction professionals who have logged a full year of safe work. They are nominated by their supervisors, and selected by random draw.
We have our second 2023 ICBA Safety Merits winner: Jose Alvarez of Dan-Jen Mechanical, and currently working on the impressive Concord Brentwood 1B project.
Over the past 40 years, Dan-Jen Mechanical has specialized in mechanical works for concrete high-rise buildings. They are dedicated to providing a safe work environment and care about the safety and health of their employees and ensure continuous on-the-job training to help their workers grow their expertise and advance their career path.
